GATLIN SERVICES was formed in early 2008. The formation brought together several very experienced professionals in the environmental field. Rick Gatlin, the owner, has been around environmental and related businesses for over 30 years. The Company may be young, but that characteristic is far surpassed by the depth of talent offered by the staff.

The company personnel, over all of their careers, have removed and obtained closure for over 3000 underground storage tanks (USTs) in sixteen (16) states across the country. That is a conservative estimate for the last thirty years, but illustrates the scope of our experience

We are a small company by design. The small size allows constant scrutiny of our daily overhead and operations costs. Like many small companies GATLIN owns the equipment that we use on a regular basis but lease or rent the specialty equipment needed for occasional tasks.

The shop and office are located at 600 Oak Avenue which is actually UNDER the Oak Avenue Viaduct in the heart of downtown Knoxville, Tennessee. Getting there can be confusing so follow the map on the “Directions” page or call and we will guide you to us. The site houses the most effective and high volume petroleum contaminated water treatment system in the area. The system is permitted and monitored by KUB prior to discharging the effluent into their sewer line.
